A new six-person home built on an inner-city pocket site, steeply sloping, overlooking Teneriffe, and neighbouring suburbs. The house was designed to sit within a densely landscaped garden, with spaces designed to celebrate each season, encouraging the family to migrate to different areas within the house to fully appreciate the land they live upon.

The home is set up with views through the house and into the landscape beyond to create moments of delight as one moves through the split levels across the site.

The house was set upon a podium that enabled us to create a two bedroom, independent granny flat below, allowing adult children to live independently with separate entry and rear house access.

The external areas are positioned to follow the sun throughout the day allowing glorious views over the river and suburbs below.
